The layer of HTM 2100 consists of extremely tightly controlled Borazon* CBN crystals in a TiN based matrix. These product characteristics make HTM 2100 a multi-purpose hard turning product, that delivers excellent results in continuous and moderately interrupted cuts. The combination of high abrasion resistance, good impact strength and chemical stability allows for higher material removal rates, good surface finish and long tool life.
