BZN 8200
– Tailor Made for Hard Turning Operations
The Borazon CBN crystals and a TiN ceramic binder phase provide BZN 8200 with
a good combination of impact toughness and chemical stability. It was especially
designed for finish machining of hardened steels (>45 HRc). Hard turning operations
with BZN 8200 can successfully replace conventional aluminum oxide grinding. It
achieves metal removal rates up to 10 times greater than grinding while delivering
excellent surface finishes.
